Application Engineer Tuning Center KBC (f/m/d) At our site in Köstendorf, the Application Engineer in the Tuning Center KBC (f/m/d) acts as the technical interface between customers, sales, product management, and R&D for customized loader crane solutions. The role focuses on translating customer requirements into technical specifications and supporting the handover to system engineering. In addition, you contribute to improving internal processes for handling customized product requests and identifying future business opportunities. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES • Analyze customer requirements, review specifications and assess technical feasibility • Act as interface between Engineering/R&D, Sales and Production and translate customer needs into technical specifications • Support projects from inquiry to implementation and assist in preparing technical proposals and quotations • Create and maintain relevant technical documentation for projects and internal handovers • Provide technical support and act as point of contact for customers YOUR QUALIFICATIONS • Degree in mechanical engineering (TU/FH/HTL) or a comparable technical education • Experience in project management within technical development environments • Knowledge of PLM systems, CAD/CAE environments and product data management • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a structured and analytical way of working • Good written and spoken English and a customer‑oriented mindset with solid problem‑solving skills WHAT WE OFFER • Flexible working hours with no core time and possibility to work from home • Further training and international career opportunities • Corporate health management "PALfit" • Company restaurant with freshly prepared meals and daily meal subsidy • Job ticket for travel to and from PALFINGER • Numerous employee discounts through Corporate Benefits Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment.
