Lead Cylinder Head Development Engineer We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated professional to join our Design and Mechanical Development team as a Lead Development Engineer. At INNIO we offer you: • An innovative and international working environment • Health We Care Program - including company sport activities • Moving cost support for new employees in accordance with policy • Good connections to public transport - station in direct proximity • Transportation cost support in accordance with policy • One of the best canteens in the area with healthy and various meals • Attractive location in the heart of the alps which provides various outdoor sport and other leisure possibilities Your responsibilities: • Working within the functional team and in conjunction with the other disciplines, lead and undertake the development of engine concepts & functions for both new product introduction (NPI) and new technology introduction (NTI) • Provide technical leadership to a team and build working relationships with other disciplines in order for a team to execute the development of engine concepts & functions for both new product introduction (NPI) and new technology introduction (NTI). • Drive multiple projects simultaneously through the identification and mitigation of risks within the project scope. Provide guidance to mitigate the identified risks. • Drive technical investigation and resolution within RCA´s and other quality processes through technical review of the available data, providing guidance to the team and taking ownership of significant issues as and when required. • Drive and lead field investigations on client site to resolve system & functional issues, support the issue resolution on component & system level. • Carry out challenging design, simulation, testing, data analyses, software definition and similar tasks • Prepare written technical reports and drive rigor into systematic know-how management. Coordinate input from across own team and present system level results and project progress within project design reviews • Review and approve written technical reports. Lead the preparation process for project design reviews, ensuring all relevant Design Review action items are closed prior to the review. • Flexibility to attend any other reasonable task as required. Your profile: • Comprehensive knowledge of reciprocating engine technology and associated systems. • More than 10 years experience in engine development. Specific experience and knowledge in the area of Cylinder Head and Valvetrain development. • Strong analytical skills, a results-driven and proactive approach to work, and a commitment to high-quality task execution. • Demonstrated quality-oriented mindset and rigorous attention to detail; excellent project and time management skills. • Proficiency in the use of relevant tools, troubleshooting methods, and development models. • A team player who is comfortable working in an international environment and possesses strong oral and written communication skills in English.
