Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop, test and industrialize innovative Lithium-Ion Battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles. The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Your core responsibilities are: • Primary point of contact for Test Managers to align on homologation and abuse related content • Responsible for the alignment and completeness of all official homologation documentation required for submission to authorities and certification bodies • Contribution to improvements of the internal test facility, with a specific focus on the Abuse Test area (safety equipment, measurement chains, test rig setups) • Development of detailed processes and specifications for executing homologation tests in accordance with international standards (e.g., ECE, UN, ISO) • Responsible for specification, preparation, execution, and documentation of complex homologation and abuse test cases What you need is: • Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field • Several years of experience in testing and validation of battery systems or automotive-critical components • In-depth knowledge of homologation processes and relevant standards (UN ECE R100, GB,…) • Experience in coordinating technical teams or sub-projects • Deep understanding of abuse test scenarios (thermal, mechanical, electrical) and safety concepts (Highest priority on occupational safety, especially when handling high-voltage systems and destructive tests) • Experience in setting up and documenting test rigs • Fluent English skills in spoken and written form Our offer for you: With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 53.000.-- We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
