Software Engineer (f/m/d) Tasks • New and further development of our lottery backend system • Implementation of our highly available transaction system that stores, evaluates, processes and accounts lottery game products • Design, implementation and testing of new features • Maintenance, customer support and assistance in test • Technical support of customer systems (currently >25 live customers around the world, and more to follow) • Responsibility for the implementation, testing, and documentation of software to ensure system stability, reliability, and maintainability. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other technical issues • Participation in all phases of the software development cycle Requirements • Technical experience in C or C++ • Java developers are also welcome • Good knowledge in using / designing web interfaces (REST, JSON, …) • Basic Linux experience • Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Bash • Experience in using GitLab, container build environments • Effective problem-solving skills in a multi-component, highly available system • Skilled programmer and able to work with sensitive data • Self-organized but also a good team player • Bonus Skills: Experience with databases and SQL (PostgreSQL / Oracle / SQLite), • Bonus Skills: Experience in performance critical environments • Language skills: German and English Offer • Stimulating and challenging projects in an international environment • The stability of a multinational corporation with steady growth and a proven track record of 50+ years • Flexible working hours, home office and modern IT equipment • Trainings and opportunities for your personal and professional development • Annual season ticket for public transport or a subsidy of up to EUR467 towards the Klimaticket, employer-paid parking facilities, health care, company events and a voluntary pension scheme • Fresh fruits, soft drinks and hot beverages, as well as an inhouse canteen and external lunch deliveries with 125EUR / month in lunch vouchers Salary We are legally obliged to provide a reference to the minimum salary of EUR 3.954.- gross per month for 38,5 hours / week, according to the current IT CBA.
