Sattler SUN-TEX GmbH in Graz-Gössendorf is looking to fill the following position: Textile designer (m/f/d) Focus: CAD Design, Weaving & Trend Development Your Responsibilities • Develop innovative textile designs for outdoor and sun protection collections • Create and refine designs using professional CAD systems (e.g., Penelope) • Design and technically develop woven structures, weave patterns, and colour concepts • Research, analyse, and interpret trends and market developments in textiles, interior design, architecture, and home living • Prepare design presentations and technical documentation • Collaborate closely with product management, development, and production teams across the group Your Profile: • Completed education or a degree in Textile Design or a comparable qualification. • Experience with CAD software for textile design (such as Penelope, NedGraphics, EAT, Pointcarre, or similar). • Knowledge of weaving technology, including weave construction, yarn properties, and technical feasibility. • Strong understanding of color, materials, and design trends. • Independent, well-structured, and solution-oriented working style. • Basic German language skills, with a willingness to continue improving them. • Excellent English language skills. • Enjoy working in international and interdisciplinary teams.
