IT System Engineer (m/f/d)

To support our growing organisation we are currently looking for IT System Engineer (m/f/d) Your main responsibilities: • Maintain, support and further develop the network environment, including the Data Center and office locations • Administer and maintain Microsoft ecosystem services, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange and Active Directory • Support and execute Disaster Recovery procedures, including regular testing and improvements • Operate and maintain backup solutions (e.g. Veeam, Networker), ensuring data integrity and availability • Monitor IT infrastructure using SolarWinds or similar monitoring tool  • Provide second-level support resolving tickets in Jira  • Provide operational support to the team in maintaining IT infrastructure services  • Implement and maintain network solutions, including VLAN, BGP, ACLs and related network components   • Implement and maintain firewalls, including ACL configuration, routing, firmware upgrades, VPN, syslog and general firewall operations  • Coordinate and work efficiently with external partners/vendors to ensure smooth operations of internal tools  • Actively participate in IT projects and contribute to successful implementation We offer: • attractive and well equipped workplace in the heart of the city center • interesting job where you can meet diversified challenges and tasks every day • international working environment, shaped by team work and a great atmosphere • appropriate remuneration and social benefits of a modern company • flexible working time including home office model • close cooperation and exchange of experience with other skilled teams within the GATX group • opportunity for professional development with wide range of trainings You are a good fit if you have: • Higher education, preferably in a technical/IT field  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in administering IT network infrastructure   • Experience with implementing and maintaining network solutions using Ruckus (or Cisco/Extreme), including VLAN, BGP, ACLs and strong overall networking knowledge   • Experience with virtualization and/or backup solutions (e.g. VMware, Veeam) • Experience in implementing and maintaining firewalls (Cisco or similar), including ACL configuration, routing, firmware upgrades, VPN and syslog administration   • Experience supporting Disaster Recovery procedures with VMware SRM; knowledge of Veeam for disaster recovery is an advantage  • Experience building network infrastructure from scratch, including SD-WAN solutions  • Very good command of English (German, Polish or French is a plus)  • Strong communication and documentation skills, including Jira  • Proactive, structured work approach and ownership of assigned tasks, processes and documentation  • Willingness to grow professionally and collaborate effectively within the team   • Willingness to travel (once per quarter), driving license would be a plus Nice to have: • PAM knowledge • Familiarity with ITIL practices This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Spedition & Logistik Industry in occupation group B/I with a minimum salary of EUR 2.663,50 gross per month.
