Lead Controls Engineer - Microgrid Solutions As a Lead Controls Engineer - Microgrid Solutions, you will shape advanced control solutions for modern and sustainable power systems. You will drive projects across the full lifecycle--from requirements engineering and design to implementation, validation, and commissioning--while working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver reliable microgrid solutions for our customers. Your Responsibilities: • Lead software projects, including requirements, validation plans, and test specifications. • Contribute to electrical design, software development, system modeling, and testing for power plant projects. • Support commissioning at customer sites and ensure successful project delivery. • Drive product improvements and help shape next-generation solutions. Your Profile: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. • Strong IEC 61131-3 structured text programming skills; Python and MATLAB are a plus. • Solid knowledge of bus communication and network engineering (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, IEC 61850). • Good understanding of control theory and power system control. • Willingness to travel as needed. • A valid work permit for Austria is required (for non-EU citizens, please attach it to your application).
