As part of the ECMUX product development team for route control you are responsible for the development of peripheral components for our route control product family. SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - CYBERSECURITY (F/M/D) YOUR CHALLENGE • As part of the ECMUX team you will contribute to the complete development life-cycle from requirements definition and development, design, implementation to unit testing, incl. documentation • Strong focus on cybersecurity • Development and maintenance of CI/Test Automation pipeline • Safety Critical Software development • Working in an international agile team and in cooperation with • Other business lines YOUR PROFILE • Technical education, preferably Master studies in Computer Science or similar • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience • Experience with the full lifecycle of a software development project: requirements, design, development, module testing, verification, deployment and maintenance • Mandatory technical qualifications: • Strong experiences with Java SE • LINUX skills (incl. bash scripting, configuring, user management/permissions) • Good understanding of SW architectural and design methods, OOP • IP networks and protocols • Cybersecurity knowledge - standards, procedures and best practices • The following technical qualifications would be a plus • Security certification preferable (e.g. ISC-CISSP) • Embedded development, real-time development • Exposure to Eclipse IDE • Experience with Git, Bash, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube • CI development • Virtualization (container based, VM based) • Test Activities (test case specification, test automation) • Experience in agile methods / SCRUM • Railway Domain knowledge • EULYNX • Safety critical development WE OFFER • Very good accessibility by public transport (Vienna Handelskai) & subsidies for public transport • Flexible working hours and, depending on the position, up to 60% home office • Hitachi Rail gives you holidays on Christmas (24.12) and New Year's Eve (31.12) • Discounts for employees (canteen, shops, corporate benefits, tickets, etc.) • Various training opportunities - online, internal and external training courses • A stable employer in a collegial and international environment Salary The salary for this position starts at EUR 60.000 gross p.a.
